Want to write something for Womankind magazine? Then take up our next challenge.
Womankind magazine is seeking participants for our next challenge, which is to spend five days trying to avoid exposure to advertising. This includes advertising on television, the internet, social media, radio, print, bus stops, billboards, and clothing. The aim is to document the extent to which you are exposed to advertising over the course of five days, and how difficult it is to avoid the influence of marketers’ ideas about who we should be and how we should live.
For the challenge, we ask you to document the activity, as well as your thoughts and feelings in daily diary. Take a look at previous Womankind Challenges for an idea of writing style.
Word count: up to 700 words.
Once you have completed your five days, send your response to us at award ‘@’ womankindmag.com
The most suitable responses will be published in the next issue of Womankind magazine.
